SPRING, TEXAS (April 2, 2025) – The Southern Texas PGA (STPGA) is proud to announce the captains for the 2025 Cup Matches, a prestigious series of competitions celebrating the best of professional and junior golf in the region.

Each of these captains brings a wealth of experience, leadership, and passion for the game, ensuring that their respective teams are well-prepared for the challenges ahead.
Bryan Minnick, PGA Head Professional at Traditions Club, selected as the Texas Joe Black Cup Matches Captain, has demonstrated exceptional dedication to the sport and will guide his team with a commitment to excellence and sportsmanship. Minnick was also honored as the 2024 Golf Professional of the Year, further cementing his reputation as a leader in the industry. Lonny Alexander, PGA Teaching Professional at Onion Creek Club, taking the helm of the Levy Cup Matches Team, brings a strong background in player development and competition, positioning his squad for success in this highly anticipated event. Roger Stebbins, PGA Director of Instruction at High Meadow Ranch Golf Club, named Texas Junior Cup Matches Captain, will lead the next generation of talented junior golfers, fostering their growth and competitive spirit on a grand stage.
