Favorite Teams: Purdue Boilermakers, Indianapolis Colts, and Indiana Pacers
Favorite food: Fried Shrimp straight from the Gulf! Love Seafood!
Who is your favorite artist: Florida Georgia Line
What is your favorite song: Levels by Avicii, it gets me pumped up every time I listen to it!
Favorite Course you’ve been to: Whispering Pines or Bluejack National. The atmosphere is incredible and makes these places special.
What’s your favorite place you played: Harbor Links in Brookville, IN or Poplar Grove in Lynchburg, VA are my favorite courses, but a couple of favorite courses that are well known that I have played would be Harbour Town or Congressional Blue (post-renovation).
What’s one thing people don’t know about you: I love to fly fish and I have been to the Indianapolis 500 12 times!
Were you involved in golf before working with the STPGA: Yes, I completed multiple internships with the Indiana PGA and International Junior Golf Tour including the Boatwright Internship with the Indiana Golf Assc. After I left STPGA in 2018, I spent some time with the Indiana PGA/First Tee - Indiana, First Tee - Greater Washington DC, and Middle Atlantic PGA.
What’s your favorite way to spend a day off: Play golf, or watch a Purdue football/basketball game.
What would you sing at karaoke night: I Want It That Way - Backstreet Boys, I have done it a few times.
What was your first job: Outside services for Smock Golf Course in Indianapolis.
What’s the farthest you’ve ever been from Texas: Nice, France/Monaco
What are some of your favorite hobbies: I really enjoy sailing. My family grew up sailing and being on the water.
What’s your favorite golf memory: Defending our title at a local charity golf event in Indiana with my dad and 2 of my best friends. We shot 54!
What is your greatest accomplishment/what are you most proud of: I was a bone marrow donor in 2013 and helped save someone's life.
What is your favorite sport outside of golf: Basketball! I am from Indiana, it is in my blood!
Who is your favorite PGA TOUR Professional?: Jan Tellstrom, he gave me my first job in golf even when I told him I had to request 3 weeks off for vacation in my first month. He was always thinking outside the box and focused on growing the game through junior golf.
What did you want to be when you were little: Play in the NBA
